The coastal countryside around the small town of Withernsea is hard to beat. The town contains much of interest, including the Withernsea lighthouse and museum. From here you are well placed to visit Spurn Head, an isolated peninsula jutting out into the North Sea, and home to many seabirds. Or take a trip to Fort Paull and experience historical scenes discovered in the underground labyrinths. Also take advantage of free use of the local indoor swimming pool nearby.
